Stacie Pozdol is a licensed mental health counselor who graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. Ms. Pozdol received her licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in 2006. Ms. Pozdol currently serves as the Lead Behavioral Specialist at the Christian Sarkine Autism Treatment Center at Riley Hospital for Children. In her role at the CSATC, Ms. Pozdol divides her time among training professionals, providing therapy services for families, and educating the community about autism spectrum disorders. Ms. Pozdol focuses much of her time on supporting the social skills of children with autism spectrum disorders. Prior to joining the CSATC, Ms. Pozdol worked at Vanderbilt University’s Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD), where she conducted diagnostic and cognitive assessments of children, provided feedback and recommendations to families after the assessments, worked as a behavior consultant for children on the autism spectrum, and worked at a social skills program for children with autism. Ms. Pozdol has a great deal of experience giving presentations on autism-specific information; she has presented at many conferences and workshops, with audiences ranging from educators, to parents, to professionals working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
