Dr. Minshawi joined the faculty of Indiana University School of Medicine in 2007. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Louisiana State University where she specialized in developmental disabilities. Dr. Minshawi completed her predoctoral psychology internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her work at Kennedy Krieger focused on empirically supported behavioral interventions for children with autism and other developmental disabilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Minshawi’s clinical focus at the CSATC is Applied Behavior Analysis and behavioral interventions for children with autism spectrum disorders. She provides parent training in individually-designed behavioral interventions, as well as training for professionals through the HANDS in Autism program./p>
