Welcome
Welcome to the HANDS in Autism Program website. This program serves as the outreach and education portion of the Christian Sarkine Autism Treatment Center. The Center and program are located at Riley Hospital for Children in downtown Indianapolis and are affiliated with the Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry.
The HANDS in Autism program focuses on non-clinical, educational and research services. General informational and traditional learning opportunities are available to develop community awareness and knowledge about the disorder. The distinct focus of the program is on providing hands-on learning opportunities for professionals as well as establishing coaching and mentoring relationships conducive to the building of local capacity in the application of the knowledge gained. The programs offered seek to address the various levels of learning appropriate to the variety of consumer needs and learning styles.
